Lenta swings to 2.4 bln rbl IFRS net loss in January–June
MOSCOW, Jul 28 (PRIME) -- Russian grocery retailer Lenta posted a 2.404 billion ruble net loss in January–June after a 3.358 billion ruble net profit in the same period of 2022, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company said in a statement on Friday.
Revenue shrank 2% on the year to 257.153 billion rubles in the period. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) plummeted 43.9% to 8.637 billion rubles.
In April–June, the company’s net profit fell 96.1% on the year to 103 million rubles. Revenue rose 1.9% to 132.514 billion rubles. EBITDA fell 29.4% to 6.012 billion rubles.
